Dr. Sangeetha Punjabi, MD

If I could she would get a -5 rating. Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever seen. She was rude, didn't listen, didn't look at the referring doctor note. She kept repeating that she didn't know what a dx was that my doctor wanted her to figure out. She told me to tell my doctor that she listened, examined and advised, although she did none of those. She said she'd order blood work to make my doctor happy but she has no idea what he's looking for. Also told me she wasn't going to bother getting in touch with me with results because it's not worth it. If I want results I can go find them online. When I looked online she wrote up all these things we didn't discuss or do and she sent me a message about blood work and medications then another stating it wasn't meant for me.

Very compassionate Care and works with you not judgemental ??

This doctor is a joke. She is supposed to be an endocornologist. However she did not do any examination of me during my 3 visits. She talks nicely and that is where her strength ends !

Does not address patients concerns properly or provide a treatment plan if you are "young".

You are best to avoid this office. If you need a prescription refill, or a referral they will never get done. The office staff are the LAZIEST I have ever seen. I had to get a written referral and fax it to my HMO myself! You are best to find a doctor with a good American education, as Punjabi is a joke. I am changing my PCP ASAP.

Dr Punjabi is a great doctor who explains procedures and lab results. She doesnt rush you out of the room if you ask too many questions, like some doctors. She is extremely caring and understanding and professional. SHe diagnosed many of complicated health issues piece by piece and did not give up on me. She is a gem. She is a great PCP but also an endocrinologist so she is very knowledgeable. She is easy to talk to and is very sincere in helping her patients. She is a dedicated doctor and if you have her you are in good hands.

Dr. Punjabi is compassionate, caring and intelligent physician. She has been quite accurate in diagnosing my problems. She is also polite and explains my medical problems clearly and completely. In addition, she promptly informs me of my lab results etc. Overall, I have been very pleased with the care she has provided me for the past five years.
