Dr. Sanjay Srinivas Kasturi, MD

I only waited 5 mins to be called. The staff was very courteous. Dr Kasturi is awesome.

Dr Kasturi is a great Doctor he has taken care of my wife father for several month but he seems to always extremely busy to speak to his patient and here there concerns its along wait in the waiting room and when you get in to see him he rushes in and out and your done.

Well it was the first and last time I see this urologist. He values no one’s time more than his own. Why make a patient wait for 30 minutes then not spend even 10 minutes during the exam? Don’t be one a doctor if that’s how u treat others. Just be a surgeon. Went for checkup for several issues but wouldn’t trust him after meeting him and moving on.

First I want to say that I cannot believe the negative comments on this post! I consider Dr. Kasturi one of the finest doctors I have ever seen. I had a REZUM procedure done...it could not have been a better experience! He spends as much time as possible to answer questions. In addition he is not only caring but VERY careful in treating urology problems. Being cautious is an understatement. I have recommended seeing Dr. Kasturi to one of my friends and has the same views that I have. I recommend him VERY highly!!!

Dr K did not hear what I had to explain, he was in a hurry to leave the room. I wanted to do a procedure to me without explaining exactly what my problem was. I went back to see him so he could explain me and it turned out that he did not know if the procedure was going to fix the problem that I had and since he did not know what to do, he sent me to another urogology for a second opinion, incredible. I thought he was a specialist but i guess not.

He has better things to do and makes it very obvious. He doesn’t even pretend to listen. He also will suggest performing procedures that he already performed 2 weeks prior, but forgot. It’s almost as if he doesn’t look at the patient’s chart prior to seeing the patient. He will also push you to take expensive medications. I understand you want to make your drug reps happy so they keep bringing you that delicious lunch. I’m sure you also love that pocket change you receive for prescribing certain medications. But I am not taking a medication that contains an MAOI and costs $400. I understand many people frequent your practice, but the very least you could do is read my chart and spend more than 60 seconds in the room. Please improve for the sake of your future patients; you definitely lost me.

agree with the others who wrote he doesnt give enough time to the patient. Huge disappointment when doctors are more concerned with outside interruptions is exactly correct. we are all busy, but thats your job and we are paying you to do it. easily can find another surgeon that will care much more than this one. thank you but no thanks.

Office visits resulted in Dr k not listening and preoccupied after making me wait 30 minutes. His time is more important. So analysis is he's a surgeon but not a family or individual doctor type that has difficulty listening and communicating. Look at me not the computer. Left and found a more personable urologist. Also Vineland office not pleased with office staff personnel smoking on duty outside and brings in the second/thirdhand smoke to the office. Not a good thing.

while very capable and seems to be a very good surgeon; needs to spend more time focused on listening to me, the patient. I am not a fan of having "outside" interruptions, such as training students and having the nurse do everything. Feel too rushed with Dr. K while he is very likable, the ultimate overall experience was fine, just prefer a doctor that listens and doesn't rush you out the door, after waiting more than 20 minutes.
