Dr. Sanjay Saxena, MD

Dr Saxena insisted on reducing suppression meds from monthly to every other month. She stopped filling my script after 1 year of not going there until I reached out to them. Then at the 2 year mark would not refill unless I made an appointment, so I made a choice to try to find another doctor. Realizing my first choice wouldn’t be able to see me for a couple months, I scheduled an appointment back at Sanjay’s. An hour before the appointment is scheduled and my time from work is scheduled for me to be off, I receive a voicemail about the appointment being cancelled. Within a few minutes of receiving the voicemail I call them back to get an explanation and the receptionist or ‘appointment maker’ answers the phone with no response and starts hitting the numbers on the phone from her end, then a click and dead air; so I call back within minutes from a different number and ask to speak to the doc who proceeds to say they won’t see me because I ‘threatened’ them about going to see another… doctor and how I didn’t want to be apart of their practice any longer, then laughs at me when I explained how long I’m going to wait.

I'd like to give a big "thumbs up" to Dr. Sanjay Saxena & his nurse MaryRuth !!! In such a fast paced & selfish world we live in, they both take the time to listen and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and cared for, to the extent of researching, finding and making phone calls to all resources. As healthcare providers they are two of the best !!!!

Dr. Saxena has been taking care of our family for 12 years. He has taken care of our children since they were in diapers- they are now all in high school. He has also taken care of my husband and myself- and now my elderly mother. I trust his absolutely and greatly respect and admire him (and his wife, Dr. Preeti Saxena). He strikes the right balance between listening to your concerns, finding out what you would like to see happen (which as a nurse I have a bad habit of giving), and then professionally and carefully laying out his course of action in a thoughtful and concise way. He also is rarely running late- which makes life easier. His wife, Dr Preeti Saxena, gives the same excellent care and inspires the same level of confidence. I am very grateful to have found such a wonderful practice.
