Dr. Sanjeeb Khatua, MD

Dr Khatua is the best Dr I have ever had. He spends time with us without making me feel rushed and listens to all of my concerns. I recommend him to everyone I know. My family will never go anywhere else so long as Dr. Khatua continues practicing.

I have been seeing Dr. Khatua for about 4 years. In the past, I thought he was a good doctor. Recently, I went to Dr. Khatua and he thought I had a UTI. I told him that it was a kidney infection, which he confirmed. Then he gave me Cipro for 5 days. The infection got worse. So, I went back. He told me I was freaking out over every symptom, which I was not. He told me he would prescribe a different antibiotic. I went to the pharmacy and they did not have my prescription. So, I went back to the office and found out that he never sent my prescription. When I finally got my prescription it was Cipro again at the same dosage for the same amount of time. I have had this kidney infection for a month now. He has told me that I am paranoid and that I am freaking out about my symptoms. I wish I could see another doctor, but he is my primary care physician and I am stuck with him until next month, when my new primary care physician will be in effect. I don't appreciate him insinuating… that I am a hypochondriac. I came to him to get rid of my kidney infection, not to insult me. And I really don't appreciate being told that I would be getting a different antibiotic only to be prescribed the same antibiotic that has already proved to be ineffective. I dread going back for my inevitable third round of antibiotics, because I am afraid he will insult me again and continue to not take my kidney infection seriously. Steer clear of Dr. Khatua.

Everything was good. He spends time with you without making you feel like you're wasting his time.

The office staff was not helpful and very rude. They even threatened my wife because she was getting frustrated with their lack of assistance and general insensitivity. Dr cancelled my appointment without telling me which caused me to drive all the way there for nothing. When I then asked what that was all about the staff, "see what happens when you complain!" I was shocked and appalled by their lack of professionalism! I'd rather go to a witch doctor than them!

Dr. Khatua is a great Doctor. He listens to what I say and asks me questions for clarity. He is the doctor that got me to quit smoking after 40+ years. He is the first doctor that didn't just say "well you need to lose weight" as the answer to all my issues. Dr. Khatua is the first doctor that made me want to get better and take care of myself. I would recomend him to the world, but then it would be to hard to get in to see him and I am selfish. I give him ten stars for bedside maner.

Dr Khatua is very compassionate, and always takes time to listen. my husband, especially, has had some more unusual health issues, and dr khatua was very accurate in diagnosis and treatment!
