Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma is extremely unprofessional and insincere. He prescribed large quantities of Oxycontin for much longer than any competent doctor ever would.. instead of recommending surgery or therapy he provided month after month after month of prescriptions to somebody who was addicted to them. That patient ended up dying of an overdose on those pills. This incompetent quack did absolutely nothing to prevent it. He was perfectly happy to accept co-payments and insurance payments for the visits. I wish the DEA would do something about this.

Seeing and reading some of the other reviews here makes me wonder if they have the correct Doctors Site. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma was amazing. My little sister is down-syndrome and Dr. Sharma could not have been kinder, more considerate and professional! Thank God for Doctors like Dr. Sharma!

He made me make an appointment and come in and see him just to get a simple prescription refill. Then he didn't even show up for the appointment for over 2 hours. I was the only patient in the entire office and he didn't even call the office until I had waited for over an hour and a half to say he was on his way. No apologies or excuses. He just didn't even care that he made me make an appointment and then didn't even show up for it or answer his phone when the staff kept calling him over and over to find him. It was completely ridiculous and the most unprofessional thing I've ever experienced.

Sometimes you will wait a very long time to see dr sharma..but he's a great dr. Just be honest with him and he will help you.

Even with an appointment and arriving 15min before the appointment, I always had to wait a very long time to see him. Out of the many visits I had with him, one time I did only wait 30min or so. I regret having him as my doctor for two years. The wait time was very bad, in that case I should have just been a walk-in or something. Also being diagnosed took forever. Kept going back 3+ office visits to be finally referred to a specialist... seemed like he had to get in as many co-pays as possible. I'm just glad I found a great doctor who actually cares about his patients, I'm sure my blue shield insurance is happy about that too.

Seemed unsincere. Not helpful in my situation. Had a hard time finding out blood test result information.
