Dr. Sanjivani Girish Joglekar, MD

It was difficult to talk to her because as soon as I started to say something she would interrupt me and seemed to answer what she assumed I was going to ask. I had to repeat myself several times before I got to fully express my concerns. Then, after several attempts she did respond and I got a very satisfactory answer, but we will see if what she promised, to monitor the formerly prescribed medications, will actually be done.

Dr. Joglekar 'treated' our 86 year mother during a hospital stay. Our mother has dementia and various physical complications. Dr. Joglekar did not want to discuss our mother's case with me, was short and acted irritated every time she saw that I was in the room. We had to chase her out into the hall one time to slow her down in order to get some information. When our mom returned home the visiting nurse read Dr. Joglekar's remarks about our mom and stated that she believed that they had been written about the incorrect patient. The heart was misdiagnosed even though she had seen a cardiologist while hospitalized and her state of mind was incorrect as well as her motor skills.Dr. Joglekar was 'assigned' to us from the ER. This will not happen again.
