Dr. Sante Dominic Bologna, MD

Not particularly personable and rather perfunctory in his follow-up care.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Bologna for over 25 years. He truly cares and listens and you never feel like a number.... We would highly recommend Dr. Bologna.

He does not spend his time with the patients. He just care about money.

I visited Dr. Bologna for an office visit and was happy that he seemed to understand what the pain I was describing was. He ordered blood work, and EGD, and abdominal ultrasound. (Keep in mind that with the high deductibles, this was all coming out of my pocket.) He performed the EGD coming in only minutes before the procedure and I never saw him again. He spoke with my driver after my procedure but didn't have the decency to stay and speak with me (the actual patient). The ultrasound was incomplete (done at a place he prescribed) and he was okay with that. Instead of finding out the root of the pain, he just said to take some pills. What a con job! I was offered another ultrasound or follow up office visit but of course, they would charge me for them both! What a scam, stay away!

Over the last six years I have been to several doctor's from St. John, Beaumont and UofM; trying to get a diagnosis. After my first visit with him, he sent me for a couple test and figured out what was wrong when no other doctor could. He seems very caring and took is time with me. I am surprised to read some of the other reviews that were bad.

I will never be back. He is arrogant and God like complex is too much for me. I will be finding a caring, understanding and thorough Doctor somewhere else in Beaumont Hospital. I love the Hospital but this Doctor is not good for it! I have no major problems but was a office visit only to him and no followup. Thanks but NO Thanks!

I didn't like his manner at all. He seemed like it was to much trouble to have me as a patient. I felt like I was bothering him. He seemed disinterested in my symptoms I did change to another Dr. In the same office Dr.Beewick and she seemed not very knowledgeable and inexperienced. Needless to say I will not go there ever again.

GREAT Gastro. Doc!Very caring and gentle.Makes you feel comfortable when you know the next procedure is not what you would want done to you everyday.With me, we're always jokeing around and that really helps takes the pressure off.I've been with him since 2001.He's the BEST!
