Dr. Santha Mohan, MD

Dr. Mohan spends time with the patient and family but does not have the latest information about medical issues. She has been practicing for 38 years and it shows. There is no updated information in the office and she has no new information about anything. There are many lectures she can attend to find out what is new in the field but she over books and has no time for new advancements in her field. When you ask a question she doesn't give a direct answer. She does talk a lot and it seems like she cares because she says it often but that doesn't help the patient if your diagnosis are old and out dated. The money that you make you can definetely dress for success and get more advanced with today's world. I would not recommend as a family doctor. For a quick visit or to fill out paper work but most definite not a family doctor (pediatrician)

This doctor also has a office at: 335 E. 118st and when you walk into that office you feel that you have walked into a office in a third world country. She is supposed to get there by 3pm and never does, one time she walked in at 5pm. When she is late she never aplogizes to her clients. Her medical equipment is out dated and she has a television that only plays one thing and it's not cartoons. The chairs in the very small waiting area are dirty. She has nothing that caters to kids.
