Dr. Santhi Penmetsa, MD

I feel very comfortable with Dr Penmetsa. She listens carefully and repeats or questions to be sure she understands my problems and needs. She was quick to diagnose what others missed and offered options over a medication I was concerned about. I trust her advice completely, which has not been easy to do with other doctors.

Plan to bring a book or something to do to your visit, because you will be sitting for a while. When you are seen by the doctor, she will watch the clock during your visit, all while talking over you as you try to ask questions about your condition. When she is on able and I'm qualified to answer questions she refers you back to you a general practitioner. Furthermore when you express your displeasure with her service, she pens complete miss truths into your medical records. I imagine this is in an effort to cover her porch achievement. A very disappointing experience, I should have heated the warnings in all of the other reviews that I read. When I contacted her office, or staff was friendly and I thought I would give it a try. Please save yourself from this experience. No one with a chronic disease should be treated in such a way.

I've never had to wait and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Penmetsa listened to all me and gave me plenty of time but I did not feel like she listened to me. I felt like she dismissed my symptoms and wasn't interested in helping me. Also, each time I go (even within a 2 week time period), it's like she's meeting me for the first time. She has no idea why I am there etc. I don't expect a dr to remember everything but seriously...no recognition at all? Another reason why I felt like she didn't care or wasn't interested. So yes, she is prompt, there's no wait, she's courteous but cold.
