I highly recommend Dr. Ambika to anyone seeking cancer care in the Reno area. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides excellent advice in response to all of your questions and concerns.

Dr Ambika was treating me for some time. Not once did he suggest anything new to help me. Recommendations for treatment came from other specialists. I was constantly pushed towards chemo and chemo only. Dr Ambika seemed like he was afraid to even touch me or look at my body. When I mentioned looking at alternative medicine he wouldn’t even talk to me about it. Two days later I got a registered letter where he was terminating his services with me. My suggestion...find another oncologist!

Dr Ambika took me verbally through the stages of my treatment and made sure I understood. His staff was always available for questions during treatment.

Dr Ambika was rude, didn't listen, did not have facts or dates correct, overtalked me and tried to push me off back to primary physician saying I had been clear for over 10 years which is absolutely wrong since last mastectectomy was 4 years ago. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr Ambika has been treating me since 2013 ,he has always been understanding and shows empathy to the patient.He accommodated our requests and he's upfront and realistic about the condition of the patientHe has a wonderful manner and comprehensive knowledge. You can ask questions and he follows up on problems. He will work with you and for you!

In our experience, Dr Ambika lacked empathy and treated the patient more like machinery than a person. Although he carried out his patient's requests, he criticized them, and also downplayed or contradicted comments made by other doctors about the situation. He was very confident that the only valid opinion on the issue was his own.
