Dr. Santiago Angel Candocia, MD

Dr. Candocia has provided the highest level of care possible for my father, dealing with multiple complex ailments. Dr. Candocia is extremely attentive, advocates for his patients, explains treatments and choices in clear terms, exhaustively investigates all possible treatments, returns calls quickly, is available for the questions and concerns of family members, and is just simply a good doctor. I am absolutely certain that Dr. Candocia has extended my father's life by more than a decade. I would recommend him to anyone, without reservation.

Dr. Candoia has an incredible bedside manner. He is patient and always asks the right questions to understand your symptoms. He has been our doctor for nearly 18 years and I wouldn't consider going to anyone else.

Dr. Candocia saved my life. Another physician had treated me for reflux for 6 years. That same physician told me that an angiogram I had 6 years ago was normal. During the course of that time, I ended up in the hospital from time to time and was told I had reflux. I heard about Dr Candocia and made an appointment. He pulled my angiogram record from 6 years prior and found that it showed blockages in my coronary arteries. He ordered a stress test which was non conclusive. He then ordered an angiogram. As a result, it was discovered that I had major blockages in 3 coronary arteries. Dr. Candocia referred me to a cardiovascular surgeon and I had a triple bypass. Dr. Candocia saved my life. I reccommend him to many people. He has always taken his time with me and he is an excellent physician as well as a very nice human being.

He is the greatest doc! He doesn't just prescribe medicine to you and send you on your way. He will prescribe and then check up on you to see how you are doing. Cares deeply about his patients. I would trust him with every person in my family if they lived close. He takes time to listen to you and what is on, not just talk at you. Never cuts you off in mid sentence because he has already decided what is wrong with you. A very high end doctor!

He seemed to rush as if I were in the way for another appointment or as if he had other more important things to do. When asked about symptoms or specifics he either didn't know or didn't bother to say. I did not see the personal touch I was hoping for at all

I have had Dr. Candocia as a family physician for more than a decade. I recently noticed he is dispassionate and in a hurry to move from patient to patient. He called me recently and demanded $2500 yearly for a "priority appointment program" where my wife and I would get the privilege of making an appointment by prepaying(!) His first love and specialty is vaccinations so if you are on vacation you can get a shot. Do not count on having a comprehensive examination and diagnosis. The theme is rush rush rush and when can you pay.

Todays version of a real Dr. Marcus Welby. Dr gets to know patients on a personal level, spends time, never rushes, is always concerned about whats best for patient, thinks outside the box and acts accordingly. Dr is kind, patient, and reassuring, listens extremely well and always explains the side effects and risks. Dr trusts his patients and acknowledges their symptoms - even when they go against the norm. Wonderful staff that is concerned, caring and willing to help.

Dr. Candocia is an excellent physician. He spends enough time to get the big picture and acts accordingly. Because he spends time with his patients he often runs late. However, he gets it right the first time, no repeat visits are needed.
