Dr. Santosh George, MD

If you want warm and fuzzy you won’t get it with Dr. George...he is straight forward, to the point, and will equip you with the knowledge you need to get the best result from your surgery. I underwent a total knee replacement recently. Dr. George didn’t sugarcoat anything...he told me this is a very painful surgery and recovery and if I want a good result I need to put in the work. Painful is an understatement but every day gets better. His nurse Sarah is amazing as well...another night-nonsense person. They want what is best for their patients and that’s what I want in a surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. George and his staff.

So I read with interest all the reviews of Dr. George. He does have days when he seems a little cold and rushed, but he also has days when he listens to every word. He is defiantly not consistent in his "bed side manner". But who is always cheerful and never rushed. My husband and I have seen him for many orthopedic issues and he is a top notch surgeon. We both joke about whether we will see Dr. George, or Santosh. Take him with a gain of salt, nobody is perfect, but he is an excellent surgeon.

This doctor is extremely arrogant, he ignores both patients and other health care providers concerns. He is judgemental and very negative when dealing with other health care providers regarding patient care. He make inappropriate, hateful comments regarding fellow providers that is completely unprofessional and unethical. Professionalism and ethics leaves a great deal to be desired.

I really liked Dr. George. I came for a 2nd opinion on my knee. He reviewed my previous medical records and we had a lengthy discussion about my knee issues. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. I feel very comfortable having him as my doctor.

He doesn't have the best bedside manner, but he is an excellent surgeon and which is most important to you? Easy answer for me, great surgeon.

When I read the other reviews I can't believe they are talking about Dr. George. He is excellent! He explained everything clearly to me. My pre and post-op experience with him was very good. My new knee is wonderful. He is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. George performed hip replacement surgery; I had no bruising, no swelling. Very easy post-surgery. Walking with cane within 10 days. Excellent surgeon.

Had knee surgery sent home with nothing! No follow up! Knee worse! Avoid him.

We came to call him Dr Bucket O Chicken. When you arrive for your appointment you have no idea that you will spend the next 3-4 hours of your life waiting to see him. I had my 6 month old with me, 1 fresh bottle and a couple diapers. A few hours later my baby was so done being there, I had to reschedule for a few weeks out because I couldn't continue to wait. Every appointment was like that. So you need to take a blanket and a bucket o chicken and plan on just having a picnic. Then when you do see him he is fast and rude.
