Dr. Santosh Potdar, MD

He slit me open but I guess was in too much of a hurry to go play the slots in Vegas. No follow up. I am now left with a gigantic hernia that no one seems to be able to fix. In my 73 years, I have never encountered a So-called doctor who cares so little about his patients. If you are thinking of using him, please don’t.

My mother had a larascopic appendectomy, which I cannot even tell you if it went okay. We weren't told what to expect or what's normal, and basically the 'after care' emergency line is an answering call center who communicates with the doctor. Two attempts to communicate with the doctor and initially he brushed me off the phone, then 2 days later I got the answering service who reiterated the doctor said "drink fluids or go to the ER". I was shocked, that's it? All your schooling and this is how you handle things AND your advice? You should be ashamed. I don't care how annoying your patients can be, or how busy you are. You take an oath to help people AND ITS YOUR JOB. If you don't want to deal with people, DONT BE A DOCTOR. You are, disgusting. I've worked in the health field for 10 years and would NEVER recommend you or stomach working for you. But I guess it doesn't matter, doctors in america either do it for the money or do it for the love of humanity, you are not the second one.

Oh, I thought I was his only patient. At least he and his staff made me feel that way. Dr. Potdar took the time to diagnose and recommend surgery. he carefully outline the pros as well as the cons of the procedure and they were all explained to me in plain English. He gave me time to ask questions and answered them without sugar coating them. I have a daughter in the medical field in Massachusetts and she has access to numerous other doctors and specialists. She discussed my case with them and the unanimous opinion was that Dr. Potdar had made the correct diagnoses and the recommended procedures were exactly correct. I entrusted my life to him and he saw me through it. On a scale of 1-5, I would rate him a 6. I would not hesitate to see him again if the need ever arises. The staff was marvelous. They couldn't do enough for you and it was done cheerfully, professionally and with empathy.. They get a 6 also

Dr. Potdar is a Outstanding Surgeon! From the first visit in my Hospital room I felt at ease with him . No one wants surgery and in my case it was unknown what he would find when he went in and did my Colon Resection in May 2016. Come to find he removed my right colon and a large mass that was stage 3 colon cancer. I can not say enough how much I respect this man as a person and Doctor, my wife was very worried of the outcome of the surgery. Having Dr.Potdar walk her through before, during and after surgery put her mind at ease. As she said he is very honest and loves his patients. I am recovering nicely at home with my family I am 55yr young old male with 4 young children I will get to watch grow up .My scar on my abdomen has healed very nice by the end of this summer you wont be able to see it. Dr. Potdar made a accurate diagnosis of my wife's condition, and had his staff schedule surgery for the next day. They were very professional and easy to work with. But most importantly, Dr. Potdar knew the seriousness of the situation and acted immediately to take care of it.

Dr. Podtar as kind, caring, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. His staff is awesome. Super nice and they make you feel so welcome there! Never have to wait long either. Love them!

I suffered horribly for more than three years and no one could help me. I saw this wonderful doctor and he arranged for me to have an "exploratory" surgery. He found out what was wrong with me and fixed it. I feel so much better and now have the quality of my life back. I could never thank him enough.

Very friendly but professional atmosphere. Staff was courteous and attentive. All Doctors offices should be like this!
