I am a fairly fit and healthy person. I came to Doctor Caldwell after many years of working with doctors who had no time to listen to me. Doctor Caldwell is very analytical, but she also listens to my concerns. She is also not a doctor who is constantly thinking of the next prescription to write me. Very caring and professional. Dr Caldwell is an excellent doctor. She is caring, listens to all my medical concerns, and is a great addition to the practice.

I had a new patient appointment for a physical exam. The overall time spent was more appropriate for a follow up appointment for a specific medical problem than a new patient. In addition, there were items documented in the physical exam that were not done. Multiple labs ordered and I question whether all were truly necessary for my care vs simply to generate income for the practice ( their lab is in house)

So thankful for the care I received today. Dr Caldwell is kind and patient..Her staff all the staff at Asheville Internal Medicine are very very nice, kind and caring? Well worth the drive from Maggie Valley. It has taken me months to find a medical practice that I feel good about.. I recommend everyone to experience welcomed care. Dr. Caldwell comments on my weight and I myself am very embarrassed about my weight. I went to my orthopedic dr. after coughing so hard from bronchitis and had fractured 3 of my ribs. When I go back I will explain the weight game. My excuse right. I do wish she could give me something magic to lose the weight but I starting gaining the weight after my first of 8 surgeries. I know another excuse.
