Dr. Sara Katherine Gerhards, MD

Dr. Gerhards is amazing! She goes above and beyond to care for her patients. A "local yocal" she is an Oregonian and gives her all for her patients. Highly recommended. Ten stars if possible!

I have called multiple times in regards to medication I am taking during my pregnancy and didn't even receive a phone call back until I pestered the front desk about it. EVEN now I STILL haven't received a phone call back and I can't wait to get away from this practice.

Don't get me wrong she is very sweet and kind. But it seems fake to me. And any non OB appointment I feel like she rushes through. The other day I waited 20 min to finally see her for 5 minutes and for her to completely disregard my concern and brush it off.and offer no resolution. When she delivered my son she was very in and out and he actually got injured.

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Gerhards after leaving my other one because I felt like she didn't know me and never took the time to remember things due to the fact she had so many other patients. I asked around to friends I knew that worked in the hospital for good OB/GYN's and she was recommended. I absolutely love that she listens to me, takes the time to explain things, and lets me know she does care, and remembers the fine details. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an OB. Although the wait time varies and sometimes I'm in and out in 25 minutes other times it takes an hour or more its so worth it!

She is down to earth & genuine. She truly cares about her patients. She has an amazing memory for being such a busy lady! She takes the time to listen, explain things and is easy to talk to. Although she is often running late, it is worth it because she really spends the time and is there for her patients.. She is all about empowering you to be educated and makes decisions WITH you, not for you. I hope I never need to see another OB, I absolutely trust & adore her.

OB/GYN appointments are always a bit awkward, especially with someone new. Dr. Gerhard was extremely down to earth and easy to talk to. I felt like she listened to me and took my health concerns seriously, even scheduled follow up tests. The Radiologists agreed that it was good I got it checked out, and wants to keep a close eye on it, even though it's probably nothing. I have been complaining about this for years to other doctors and it's nice to finally put my mind at ease.
