Dr. Sara Isabel Pai, MD

As a head and neck cancer patient, Dr. Pai has shown me nothing more than compassion, kindness and quality healthcare. She is physican who listen to my complaints and allow me options for my own care. She is a wonderful doctor that understands deeply about her patients needs. Never leaving any loose ends, seeing that I was cared for until all my problems were resolved. I highly recommend her.

Horrible “doctor.” So full of herself and thinks she is better than everyone. Manipulated me into her “research” and can’t even remember my name every time I go to the hospital.

Dr. Pai is a good researcher. We found her because she is well established and has lots of respectable publications. However, being a good researcher doesn't mean you are a good doctor. My partner came in to participate in one of her "trials." In the initial "scope," where she sticks a tube down the throat, she wore sunglasses the entire visit. When my partner started tearing up from the pain, she did this uncomfortable laugh and didn't even acknowledge it. Are you disgusted by your patients or something? We're still people.

Dr. Pai clearly is well-accomplished and knows the ins-and-outs of her field. My significant other participated in one of her "trials." She showed up to "scope," (the diagnostic tool: sticking a tube down the throat without anesthesia) wearing sunglasses and did not take them off the ENTIRE visit. On top of that, when my partner started tearing up from the pain, she just did this uncomfortable laugh and didn't even acknowledge it. She was still wearing sunglasses. Are you disgusted by your patients or something? We are still people. I am sure she is doing great things for her field since that is how we found her in the first place, but she is certainly not a doctor that we will ever recommend. Don't be fooled by grand research and funding. Ask other doctors about her and you will know her reputation.
