Dr. Sara Ann Tepperberg, MD

I saw this doctor for the first time thinking I would get a higher level of care based on experience. I was wrong. She smelled of alcohol and insinuated that I wanted a change in medication to get high. I take 20mg adderall xr in the morning and 10mg adderall ir in the afternoon, but have side effects with the xr so I wanted to take the ir three times a day. She told me they were different medications and insinuated I wanted it to get high. Having ADHD, this medication calms me and helps me to focus. Prior to being prescribed this medication, I self medicated with alcohol to get the same calming effect, but haven't had a drop of alcohol(except one day) since getting the help. She entered into my medical record that I submit to random drug screenings and suggested partial hospitalization...wait? What? I have never done illegal drugs in my entire life! She snatched up my prescription for 20mg adderal xr that had 25 in the bottle saying, "if you aren't gonna take them, you wouldn't mind… me keeping them". She went as far as to set them far from my reach like I was going to change my mind and take them. Note: instead of prescribing 10mg adderal or twice daily to replace the morning dose, she decreased the dose of the xr to 10mg. What part of the conversation did she not understand? I was clear that the xr gave me severe side effects...one being numb frozen feet. I feel as though this doctor has drug and alcohol issues of her own and deflected those issues on me. It may even be illegal for her to have taken my medication due to it being a controlled substance...I will be looking into that. Very deflating experience.

She listens to every little complaint she's the best doctor i ever had
