Sarah Boutwell, MD

I was recently dismissed as a patient of Dr. Boutwell’s for missing and an appt. and for rescheduling 2 times. I was left with medical needs that needed to be addressed and nowhere to turn. After speaking with the office, I was abruptly told I had received a letter in the mail stating I was “dismissed”. During the time the office stated I should have received this letter, which I did not receive (even tried to track at USPS); I also scheduled an appt. with Dr. Boutwell and no one even mentioned this dismissal. The day of the appt. I was turned away. If you have medical needs and you may have to cancel an appt., I would think carefully before choosing this practice. I truly did not realize a patient could be dropped and left without a doctor to turn to. I have a feel doctors in my family and they have never heard of a policy like this? I recently had to go to urgent care for a medical need and have nowhere for the test results to be sent? Very bizarre and does not seem even… possible. But it happened.

Inexperienced doc that rushes through appts. I do not recommend Dr. Sarah Boutwell at SSM Internal Medicine.
