Dr. Sarah N Deighton-Collins, MD

Dr Deighton - Collins is fantastic. Twice I had a bed reaction to procedures. On both occasions Dr, Deighton - Collins stayed with me in the room until the reaction passed and I felt better. That took a long time. On the second instance I told her "you don't have to babysit me" and she still stayed with me. She could have easily sent a nurse. During the time she was with me Dr. Deighton - Collins was amazing. She was supportive, kind, helpful, I have no more superlatives to describe how good she was.. Her MA is really rude and really bad but it really does not matter.

This place, staff, and Dr. Deighton-Colli Sarah none of them deserve even A one star. I drove over an hour to make it to the appointment that was scheduled two months ago. My appointment was at 4:30 PM which I had marked on all my calendar's and her staff calls me at 4:28 saying why am I not here yet and Dr. can't take me. First of all doctors are always late coming into patient's room. Second of all I was literally going to be there in five minutes had you not call and flustered me. i told the lady I'm on my way literally right there by the hospital and she tells me that my appointment was at 4:15 PM. I am more than hundred percent sure my appointment was at 4:30 PM and not at 4:15. she was clearly lying because probably had an order from the doctor that she has to go. I told her my appointment is at 4:30 PM and I'm literally right there she goes well it's 430 now so Dr. can't take you she has to go. Are you kidding me? Then why did you schedule my appointment at 4:30. And if… Dr. had to go couldn't you have given me a courtesy call and letting me know earlier before I made over an hour drive and requested time off from work??? Lady was super rude and expected me to carry around my personal and private medical records and purse all the time apparently. She was looking to find any excuse to cancel my appointment and she did cancel saying I am late and told me even though I'm only five minutes late doctor can't see me anymore. She wasn't even trying to be nice or polite about this whole situation. She was super rude. I have to imagine she was having a bad day working at a front desk so I maybe understand but directions probably came from dr. it's self. I actually scheduled an appointment with her because somebody had given me good reviews for her but this speaks of her character as a doctor and the fact that she could care less about patients that she scheduled. This Dr. and staff of St. John Providence Ascension health care At this office seemed very unprofessional and I would advise you not to make an appointment with this doctor and try to find another doctor that are better than her and stay away from her and her rude staff ! When you are paying for the service you don't need that type of negativity and somebody treating you like you are doing them a favor. They weren't even apologetic or seemed like cared or concerned about anything except telling me rudely that my appointment is canceled. They were not even slightly trying to accommodate in anyways!!

A delightful and compassionate doctor who really knows her stuff!

Dr. Deighton-Collins is by far the best gyn. I have ever had. She makes you feel like she is not only your doctor, but your friend. She is amazing and I only wish when I was child bearing age, I would have had her to guide me through the process. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is. She listens, is compassionate, and truly cares about each patient. Can't say enough about her... She is wonderful!!

I had some abnormal testing and was very worried and upset, she took the time to sit and explain everything to me. She made sure I was completely comfortable before the end of the appointment. She did not rush or try to hurry through my questions. She is truly a great doctor, would and have recommended her.

I took my 15 year old daughter to Dr. Deighton-Collins for an Ovarian Cyst, needless to say she was pretty upset with the situation and in a great deal of pain. The Dr. was outstanding in her treatment and understanding of how uncomfortable my daughter felt, was as compassionate as could be and so helpful. She really took a lot of time with us and took a conservative route rather than jumping to surgery which we really appreciated. With many years of seeing OB/GYN docs myself I would recommend her hands down to others in the area, especially for young girls having their first exam. We were also able to get an appointment in 2 days, which was much appreciated,

I just saw her for the first time. She was very respectful and treated some of my past issues very delicately. She and her staff are down to earth and friendly, and try to make you as comfortable as possible. I didn't feel rushed, and she takes the time to listen as well as to explain everything. Good doctor!

Truly wonderful! Made me feel comfortable from the start! Took great care of me and my baby.
