During 2011 through 2013 during the short time I lived in Abilene, I was a patient of Dr. Sarah Ferguson who exemplified the best medical service that I have seen in many years. Dr. Ferguson knew you when you were in her office and if she saw you elsewhere, she was just as friendly. Perhaps someone may say that being personable is not a medical service, but it is as important to be treated as an intelligent human being as it is to get the correct pill. In addition, Dr. Ferguson did not expect to know everything that there is to know and impart that imperical knowledge upon her patient. When needed, Dr. Ferguson knew when and where to refer her patients. The quality of service that this action provides is exponential in its overall health benefits. Then, she provided follow-up service to determine the extent of the relief that the patient received. Through this method of treatment, I, as the patient, was offered the best medical advise that the Abilene area had to offer.
