Dr. Sarah H Lewis, DO

I sought a doctor who could be part of or close to the UVA medical community to help diagnose my wife's complex symptoms. We were offered Dr. Lewis. I read the only review seen below and came close to cancelling the appointment but after hearing a staff member's positive comments on the phone felt that she deserved a chance. We could not have been more pleased. I explained that we had been frustrated and disappointed with the NRV medical care we had been using for the past several years in the absence of a definitive diagnosis. Dr. Lewis spent an hour with us both and then ANOTHER hour 1:1 with my wife drawing blood, conducting an examination etc. (we realize this is not the norm)She asked what our expectation was for this visit. My answer was ultimately a diagnosis of the seemingly unrelated symptoms but mostly someone who will take the time to study the case, consult or refer to local UVA specialists and stick with us until we could get answers backed by a thorough… "investigation" of the problems. She accepted the challenge. My wife left feeling optimistic in finding a doctor (albeit it 2.5 hours away) she felt committed to her case, that she could trust and that she could confide in and that would really hear her. Not sure what more you could ask from a doctor on the first visit. Thanks Dr. Lewis.

Run if you still can Sarah Lewis is fraudulent with insurance filing and collections. Follow the rules governed by the state apparently do not apply.
