Dr. Sarah Daniel Maddison, MD

Please never let her deliver your child. She delivered my first. I was in labor for 14 hours and pushed for 4ish hours. After birthing 3 more children after the experience I had with her, I’m devastated I didn’t know how to stand up for myself and my unborn child that ended up with birth defects from being stuck in the birth canal for several hours. After several years of processing the trauma I went through, I learned she was a completely disrespectful and treated my husband so rudely for asking questions. I love Mid Carolina ob/gyn so much and would highly recommend that practice but stay clear of delivery with Dr. Maddison.

Dr. Maddison has been my gynecologist since 2003, and I have always been 100% pleased with her demeanor, knowledge, skill, and the care I receive from her. She performed my tubal ligation, has been with me through infidelity, divorce, STD scares, dating, thyroid issues, and menopause. She has been outstanding through it all.

I've seen Dr Maddison for 3 years. Will not be back. Just a few examples: When I told her about pain/bleeding I experienced during the exam prior, she said she would send me home with a pad this time..? When I told her I stopped taking the pill because I thought it could be causing me issues, she very quickly said it wasn't & expressed 0 care. When giving me a breast exam, she pitched to me laser hair removal. Just no bedside manner. I leave feeling like she could care less, if you aren't over 30 and expecting, she doesn't seem to care. Not to mention 2 years in a row I was billed for STD testing when I clearly opted out of it.

Love this practice, but not this provider. No bed side manner. Didn’t seem to care or give me the time of day.

I absolutely loved my experience with Mid-Carolina but dreaded my appointments with Dr. Maddison. She ALWAYS had longer wait times. She ALWAYS made me feel rushed. As a patient I didn't feel like she cared about my general well-being as other Dr.'s in this practice did. After a close family friend passed away I began spotting and having abnormal pains during an otherwise perfectly normal pregnancy. She was stone faced after I explained the new stressors and said it was no big deal and to call if it gets worse. Although as Ob-Gyn's they probably hear these symptoms all the time it is not reassuring to be dismissed so easily with zero compassion. Should we decide to have another child I will avoid all appointments with Dr. Maddison.

After feeling discomfort and frequent urge to urinate, thinking it will be UTI I went to Dr. Madison. After I told her all the symptoms she told me it could very well be over active bladder and gave me some UTI medicine and sent me home. After a week or so I miscarried what could have been my first child. This was my first time being pregnant I didnâ??t know any better with the body change and all the symptoms. But, come on! this is a doctorâ?¦ instead of asking few question and trying to figure out whatâ??s going on she just hand me some antibiotics and rush me home. I went to Med Carolina after the miscarriage to conform. Then, the Nurse called me and informs me it is a miscarriage thatâ??s all. No word from Dr. Madison. She cares less about her patients.

This is a great practice. Very happy with my care and overall experience. They can even do your mammogram at the same time as your appointment.

Dr. Maddison has been my gyn for several years and does a great job helping me work through post-menapausal issues. She would have been great to have during my child bearing years!
