Sarah Murphy, APRN, FNP-C

“My care philosophy is to treat every patient the way I would want my own mother to be treated,” said Sarah. “That means listening carefully, respecting each person as an individual and ensuring that every patient feels valued.” Sarah has known since middle school that healthcare was her calling. Her empathy for others inspired her to begin working as a nurse aide in high school, a role she continued throughout nursing school. As a registered nurse, she gained invaluable experience in the emergency room and in labor and delivery, which helped shape the provider she is today. Now, as a nurse practitioner, she draws on those experiences to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.Her special interest is in women’s health, a passion that developed during her time as a labor and delivery nurse, where she grew to love both gynecology and obstetrics. She also chose family practice because she is dedicated to providing quality care to patients of all ages in the primary care setting.
