i came from a massive research university and discovered quickly my psychiatric and analytic experiences in a rural state such as this were going to be very different from that to which i had grown accustomed. indeed they were. ahockingly so and to my detriment. muscat took me as part of a case load when helping out her colleaguea in an adjacent field. and i was very glad to stay on w her when she moved back to her regular practice. more than once i have said, slightly bewildered, that she's the best out-patient psychiatrist i've ever had. anywhere. in ten years. period. she treated me for 3+ years. v attentive. flexible and willibg to try new things, but also pragmatic, responsible, and level-headed. i can think of no higher compliment other than to say she's reliable, dependable, stable, patient and steady and kind. the very best this region has to offer, for sure.

clinically irresponsible (tx, meds), unprofessional, violated confidentiality at least twice, at least once putting me in imminent danger. socializes casually with family members of patients, sans legal release.
