Dr. Sarah Shirazi, MD

A very Insensitive dr. Not nice or caring Isn’t understanding at all Dr. You are not a caring person. Imagine never to hear the sound of silence again from an aneurysm of which you insulted my intelligence and contradictory all the medical records I have since 2013 . May God Help You Your not a nice person ??

Dr. Shirazi always showed she cared, always smiled and was upbeat about any news she was sharing. She explained things so non-medical patients could understand, and she wasn't afraid to admit that perhaps an error had been made in diagnosing my condition due to contamination. I found her very personable and friendly. She seemed quite professional and knowledgeable as well.

This doctor is now in California. She was my hospitalist. Very fast to get out of the room, sent me home after 4 days seeing I had oral thrush, with no prescription to treat it, even though I asked. She thought I could get an over the counter treatment at any pharmacy. 7 days later, I still have oral thrush, that is now being treated by urgent care. She should have known I needed a prescription, or she shouldn't be doing her job. Never once in the hospital did I ask for pain medication (I went in for a very low heart rate), but she had it ordered for each day, and sent me home with a prescription for it. I had the nurse shred it. Never explained why she was prescribing medications in the hospital, just did it.

Disregards patient's preferences, too quick to refer patient for expensive, unnecessary testing. She is hard to understand, English is not her first language. It might be a cultural quirk, but tends to be rude.
