Dr. Sarah Shulamit Siegel, MD

I was apprehensive about going to this doctor's office. She is based out of Norwalk Community Health Center (basically, a clinic), but my 3yo daughter's Husky insurance is covered and our last doctor experience with another practice was horrid so we had to give it a try. I was really pleased with how nice the staff was, and how much time the doctor (and nurses) took to listen to my daughter's health issues. When I stated that we are withholding vax's, I was not questioned or given a dirty look (not by the receptionist, the nurses or the doctor). When I showed her my dd's diarrhea issue, I was not told to just simply put her on anti-diarrhea meds (and in fact, Dr. Siegel, like me, wanted to hold off on meds unless absolutely necessary). My dd is not a fan of the doctor or strangers, but Dr. Siegel took the time to try and connect and interact with her (and my dd has now told me that she is a very nice doctor!). Overall, other than a very long wait (which I have a feeling is not typical,… but I wouldn't expect to be seen quickly), this doctor and office are fabulous. In fact, when I dropped in today to give some specimen samples, the staff couldn't be nicer and the doctor even took a moment to sit with me and talk (even though I didn't have an appointment).
