Dr. Sarah Louise Simmons, MD

I am feeling so much relief and validation from reading other reviews of this doctor and share similar experiences. Simmons was assigned to me through Kaiser and not only did she refuse to provide documentation for my workplace accommodation requirements after describing how seriously I was being impacted by my condition, she also completely skewed my own description and testimony in her notes to downplay my struggle, effectively nullifying my efforts. I wish I had known how unempathetic and invalidating this provider was before seeing her— interacting with her just traumatized patients in their process to get better. Her license should be revoked.

Refused to list my limitations so I could get accommodations from my job, then refused to certify my workers comp when I broke down professionally because of it

Sarah Simmons is dismissive and does not listen to patients. She is also in my experience unethical and violated my right to privacy by disclosing my medical information without my consent. I have reported this to the California Medical Board. For your own safety stay away from this woman.

Avoid her. She is condescending and has no empathy.

Her mind seemed to be on other things. I felt she lacked insight and empathy.
