I've lived in this body for 75 years, and I know when I need medications. I don't seek them lightly. It's ironic, then, to be told on the one hand that my provider and I are "partners" in my healthcare, but on the other that she won't accept my word without a live consult. I realize there are a lot of idiots out there, but it's disillusioning to be treated like one.
