Sarah Tariq, MD

Dr. Sarah Tariq specializes in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, helping patients manage complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. She completed her residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2019, followed by a fellowship at the University of Arizona School of Medicine in 2021. Dr. Tariq is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, allowing her to communicate effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Dr. Tariq practices at Banner - University Medicine North in Tucson, Arizona. She treats patients with high blood sugar conditions, including children with elevated glucose levels and emergency situations involving dangerously high blood sugar. Her clinical focus includes performing comprehensive blood work and A1c testing to monitor long-term blood sugar control, as well as implementing continuous glucose monitoring systems to help patients track their glucose levels throughout the day.
