Dr. Sarah Beth Zifcak, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Zifcak for 7 years. In appointments she is thorough, knowledgeable and attentive to the whole person and not just the illness. Dr. Zifcak will take time with a patient to really address patients' concerns. She is well informed about new advancements and treatments. If your questions cannot be answered during the appointment, she follows up with information in a timely manner. Her staff is professional, efficient and kind.

I am not very critical of doctors (they help me), but I must say that Dr. Z is very personable and we made a good connection. She appears to be quite a bit younger than I, so hopefully, she will be my last PCP.

Easy-going yet proactive and decisive. Appreciate her willingness to refer patients out to specialists when additional input or evaluation is warranted in an effort to get the best possible care. No complaints.

I have loved Dr Zifcak until just recently. She is very attentive in appointments, and makes me feel like the only patient in her schedule. I continured to see her after moving away from the Concord area for this reason. Unfortunately, she is very hard to get ahold of from outside the office. I sent a message through their health management website and after two weeks gave up on checking for a reply (until about a month later, gave it one last shot, but still nothing)Last week I called on Monday asking for more information about a prescription change I am interested in making and didn't hear back. When I called this week on Monday, I was told that Dr Zifcak would be out of the office until Wednesday. Very frusterating

Dr. Zifcak is ver friendly, knowledgeable and her office staff is professional and courteous. She was comfortable taking my situation on 5 years ago. I have a rare autoimmune disease that is also managed by another specialty. Over a period of 5 years my chronic disease worsened and required more interactions with other physicians. Unfortunately she began sending me to other specialists without seeing me first. It made me feel that she was uncomfortable with the comorbidity of my disease. When she was needed to write co-orders with specialty physicians she would cancel the order and literally leave me in a hospital waiting, only to be told that she cancelled a test ordered by another physician. This and a few other situations make me feel she wasn't confident overseeing, as a primary care physician, a patient with multiple health issues. This could be rightly her number of years in practice. I would strongly recommend her for everyone else, which is the majority. She is… personable, knowledgeable and will tell you when she's not. But she always follows up when she gets the answer.

I have enjoyed good health most of my life, but, in 2008, I fell from a ladder fracturing my left humerous rather badly, requiring surgery. A number of health issues surfaced around this time.Dr. Zifcak is a very thorough, competent physician who genuinely cares about her patients. She has been a terrific health advocate, and has carefully co-ordinated my care. She answers questions directly and thoroughly. I cannot recommend her more highly.
