Dr. Sardar Amir Daud Khan, MD

He asks questions and listens to the answers. He was knowledgeable. I moved from another state and needed a gastroenterologist here. I was not there for a social chat.

Was referred to Dr. Khan by primary Dr. to have a colonoscopy. On Wednesday we went for initial visit, we never saw Dr Khan, we saw his assistant, she was very compassionate and informative. Whenever we had questions, and she had recommendations, she'd step out to consult with Dr. Khan, for his approval. Colonoscopy scheduled for Friday, we were told to be at hospital for 9:30am, for colonoscopy scheduled for 11am. My husband was taken back for the procedure at 12:30. We'd still never met Dr Khan...after procedure, Dr comes out, looks at me asking, Who Are You?...I'm his wife, then he says, ok well he has colon cancer, here's the pictures, and he walks away..I almost felt like apologizing for bothering him. I stood in hallway, thinking he'd return with information, when the nurse comes to give me tissue, and to let me know that my husband was being admitted into the hospital. Dr. Khan has the worst beside manners of any Dr I have seen.

His bedside and listening ability is the worst I have ever seen. Not sure why he is a Dr with such a bad attitude and lack of caring! Save your time and find someone else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan since the early 90's. Ove all I am satisfied with the care I received. My office visits are thorough. Exam and lab results are reported timely. I do wish that lab results could be given over the phone though as I have to pay another office visit just to get them and that can become frustrating and costly in this economy. Note: Dr. Khan can be taken in the wrong vein at times which I contribute to a cultural difference.

Dr.Khan has no bedside manners..Never looks at me, I complained of pain and he didnt even look at me to show him. Set me up for endoscopic of stomach at 11am at tops and he didnt show up until 1pm. Never introduced to my family that was waiting for proceedure. cant read report given. I will never use him again and am reporting to insurance company

So mean and don't want to answer patient.
