Dr. Saritha C Thumma, MD

I went with my daughter today, as I live out of town and sat and listened to Dr. Thumma try to explain what my daughter is to do next. Which was not talked about before. I was not impressed with her. She only had negative things to say to my daughter who has already gone through a lot. She does not have good bedside manners. She does not explain things thoroughly and she never looks you in the eye when talking! I am hoping to talk my daughter into getting a second opinion.

Worst Dr I have ever seen! No empathy! Not proactive! No interest in hemotology. Does not listen. Terrible bedside manor! Took no interest in health!

Dr Thumma is a very good Dr. Her bedside manner is improving. I have yet to hear from the office about an appt. for an infusion. And no callbacks explaining my test results that I DID receive on MyChart.Org

Dr Thumma is and was an amazing provider. She and her staff have always been very helpful, accommodating and resourceful. She said she was going to be by my side through the whole ordeal of chemo and radiation and she WAS! Whenever we had questions/concerns she was always helpful and compassionate. Her knowledge of her profession is exemplenmentary as was her attitude.

Dr. Thumma and her staff were unresponsive to my concerns about side effects caused by the drug she prescribed for my post radiation cancer treatment; insisting that I go to Urgent Care instead of their office which caused me additional and unwarranted costs and a misdiagnosis that did not address my health care needs. Additionally, the staff falsified my chart by entering information after the fact, and the staff transcribed information incorrectly from the required forms that CCNW provides; resulting in my chart notes containing inaccurate medical information. Dr. Thumma has a nurse on staff that is an eye-roller; when she updates the incorrect information into your chart she rolls her eyes, demonstrating a clear disdain for patients. If they got so much of the easy stuff wrong, how can they be trusted with my precious health? They. Can. Not.

While I have no real complaints about this persons medical knowledge she does NOT communicate well with the patient and patient's family. Does not always give accurate information and sometimes come across as omnipotent !!
