Dr. Sarosh Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed is the best. I only see her a few times a year, but each time I feel heard. She is very attentive to my concerns. There has been times when I needed to reach out to her on the weekend and she has been available to provide effective interventions. I find Dr. Ahmed to be competent and I trust her judgment. Moving to a new city a few years ago, I was anxious about finding primary care, but I could have not chose better.

Dr Ahmed & her staff are so great! Every time I have an issue, they promptly get me in! I have never had any issues with this provider or her staff.

Don’t let the negative reviews here fool you. Some people just can’t be pleased. Dr. Ahmed and her entire staff were amazing! Got me in as a new patient for a same day appointment due to my symptoms. A live person answers the phone, no prerecorded greetings, which is refreshing. Five stars all around.

I have not seen her , however I got a phone call that she won't see me because of certain meds I am on and won't refill them... Some of which are blood pressure meds... Sad when doctors take an Oath and pick and choose who they want to be bothered with. I wonder why she went into medicine. I guess if you develop certain conditions she drops you.

I find that Dr. Ahmed is a very caring doctor who is in tune with her patient's needs. She goes out of her way to access their physical and emotional needs. Great bedside manners and very knowledgeable. I have recommended her to several friends who agree with my assessment of her. Great doctor!

Being a small business owner in the busiest part of my season I have had a difficult time getting in to see my Doctor. I have high blood pressure and high cholestral and need upkeep medicine for this reason. I get in for my doctor visit in the winter season but it is incredibly difficult to take the time off during the day when I have an entire crew that has to shut down if I am not there. So I have had to cancel several appointments due to this. In calling to make an appointment and get my medicine I have never been treated so rudely. The staff and nurses scolded me yelled at me on the phone and told me to try to find another doctor. I was under the impression that I was their customer and correct me if Im wrong but "customers always right". Well the nurses here say that we work for them & we have an obligation to make our appointments. I assume that the nurses do not understand nor care to understand about my busy schedule. But I have never been more offended by someone I… pay to take care of my health. I am looking for another doctor at this point and the nurse even encouraged me to find another doctor before she hung up on me.

I am a two year patient of Dr. Ahmed. My first visit she helped to put me on the correct medication and told me all the right things to do. She showed me that I was misdiagnosed by another Pekin,IL. Dr. and that they put me on the wrong medication as well. Dr. Ahmed is a soft spoken intelligent professional and her staff could really learn a lot from her. The office staff lacks any kind of professionalism from what I have seen.

I dreaded going to the doctor since my old Dr's bedside manner was just atrocious. I had multiple issues going on when I went in and I finally got up the nerve to request a different doctor. Wow, what a change! Dr. Ahmed talked to me for literally 15-20 minutes, which I have never in my life had a Dr. spend with me, and she quite obviously loves what she does. She had me come in for a follow-up and was just as caring that time too. I hope she stays in Pekin because she is an absolute asset to this town.
