Dr. Sassan Taghizadehmoghaddam, MD

I had an appointment with him one year ago for my backpain. He asked for X-ray and I did it right away in the same hospital. After one year back and forth that I was asking for a copy of my x-ray, he never provided it to me. After 4 or 5 times they sent me a temporary account that has no information about me but my full name. I said I wouldn’t pay until I get my X-ray. Now with no response from him I see he sent the receipt to collection. It’s just $150 but he didn’t do anything and provided no service. I don’t suggest anyone to see him. There are many doctors better than him.

The Office Staff makes everything worth it although the doctor is very thorough and took time to go over everything with me and make sure I understood everything the Ladies in the office are very courteous, friendly and the Office Manager is very efficient.

Excellent Service

The answering message says the office is open from 9am to 3pm, however in my experience, they do not answer the phone until mid day. One time I had to leave several messages and still never heard back from them. When I called around noon someone picked up but said she never got the message. Not professional.In another experience I made the appointment for 9am. I showed up at 8:45am. I stood in the hallway until the secretary showed up at 9:30am. Then I waited another 30 minutes for the doctor to show up. Not professional.Another time the staff refused to put the Dr on the line to read my test results. Instead they kept reading it to me, which I believe is a hipaa violation. Regardless of whether it is a hippa violation, i would have rather spoken to the Dr. The secretary kept reading it and telling me that if she got the doctore on the phone, he was going to read the exact same thing-- so whats the point, right? The point is that he has a medical degree, so I'd rather hear the results… from him, not a secretary. Well I understand he is a busy man, so I asked if there were any other times during the day or in the coming week when I could set up a phone call. They wouldn't do that. The only way to have the doctor read my results was if i were to make an appointment and come back in so I did this. When I came into the office he was very short with me. He read the results (yes, just like she said he would) and then tried to leave. I told him to hold up because I had some questions. He stayed and answered them but acted like I was the one wasting his time.
