Dr. Satish K Shah, MD

i thought he was a very nice and direct man, he talked me through the NCS and let me know exactly what was going on while he was sticking me with needles. The lady in the office was awesome too!! 5/5 stars for both. Shame on all of yall saying he needs to go back to india, maybe hes not the problem, yall are just to dumb to understand him.

Will not allow patient to explain symptoms and concerns. Interrupts, then tells you he knows what he is doing. On an ego trip.

Doctor Shah was professional, thoughtful and valued my opinion. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an expert Neurologist.

He books appointments every 5 minutes, so you wait at least and hour. Once you get to see the dr. he spent 5 minutes with you. He does not have a very good bedside manner, in fact he is almost rude!

Very poor bed side manners. Won't give you time to answer his questions before he ask another one

If I could give something less than poor, I would pick it. This was the most horrible medical experience I have ever had in my entire life. Dr. Shah's bedside manner was inexcusable. I am a highly educated medical professional myself and he talked down to not only me but my family as well. His language was hard to understand and he never once offered to explain anything. He was not able to give a medical diagnosis for my problem and when asked said he doesn't provide "medical miracles". I would not send anyone, even my worse enemy, to this doctor.

I havent been to see Dr. Shah since 2010, maybe things have changed, but i doubt it. Dr. Shah was very rude and cold, didnt care about my diagnosis, just tested me on medication after medication. when i told him about adverse reactions i had with the drugs he prescribed, he told me to stop taking them 2x/day instead take it 3x/day. i have muscular dystrophy and he was treating me for seizures! (which i have NEVER had). he talked about my weight with great disgust. At my final appt, he told me no one can help me and good luck finding another neurologist because he refused to give me a referral to another neurologist for a second opinion, even told me his was the only opinion that mattered anyway. unfortunately i have to move back to the area, and will need to find a neurologist to treat me fairly and with dignity.

I can not say what I think of this man the only nice thing I'll say is he doesn't need to have his license to practice anything

Recently a family member was in the hospital and referred to dr shaw. I have been a nurse for a long time and have never witnessed anything like this. Im so glad that i was in the room to observe his arrogant, demeaning behavior. No compassion. Was in extreme hurry to gather info for his H&P. There is no way my family member would have been able to interact with this person by herself. He would ask a question , and while we were answering, he would talk over us asking same question over in an annoyed tone. Because of this , he could not remember what we were telling him. Very condescending and provoking. Will not follow up with this pos.

I have never met a doctor that was more rude and degrading. He told me that I I was having trouble because I was overweight, and proceeded to tell my 4 year old to shut up. He then gave very generic answers, and examination. I will not be going back. I would rather drive 2 hours away than be treated like trash!
