Been under his care for over 8 years, been always thorough and never watch his clock. He has always been accomodating (due to my frequent out of country travels ) in seeing me at short notices. Thousands thanks Dr. Torres!

I am legally blind, and I get around with the help of Uber, a shared ride, or family. Since I am legally blind, I usually give my consent to office staff to read things and I sign them. However, Melina Nguyen refused to allow staff to help me. She warned me that I had better have a caregiver with me next time or I would not be seen. She kept her promise and today I had an appointment and because I did not have a person with me to read for me Melina Nguyen refused to read the information to me and she refused to allow the other staff to read it to me as well. Melina Nguyen kept me from seeing the doctor so I paid for a ride to the doctor and did not get in to see him. I am filing a complaint with my insurance company and the EEOC. To show so little care for someone with a disability is not acceptable. Ronnie Perkins

I started seeing Dr. Torres here after my original physician moved out of state and was no longer able to treat me. He completely changed the medication I was on for depression to a different class (I guess he received kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies that dispense this) I asked about the change and was told very shortly it would work better and not to worry so I blindly agreed as he is the doctor and I am not... needless to say I was switched from Prozac to Cymbalta and the experience was horrific and nightmarish to say the least. Cymbalta is quite costly also so I went from paying $2 a month to $38 a month. The way I reacted with this medication almost cost me my life and my marriage. Twice I fainted from dangerously low blood pressure which Cymbalta can cause and not to mention I had to have my blood taken twice a year to make sure it wasn't damaging my liver... hmmm still not sure why I was taken off my Prozac and switched to Cymbalta. And let's not forget I had to… reschedule my physical due to work commitments and was told it would be another 6 weeks before I could get in. Ok no problem, but my medication needs a refill by then... did I get a refill? Nope! Not until I come in and see the doctor I was told! Then there comes the withdrawals... vomiting, diarrhea, panic attacks, terrible headaches... was able to pop in a CVS clinic and get a months worth of Cymbalta which is crazy I had to even see someone else when Dr. Torres could have easily called in refill for 1 month!!! When you add up the emergency room visits from reactions to this medication along with the significant price increase and extra doctor visits and lab fees for the blood work required while on this medication, I am over 5K in debt!!! I'm happy to say I am no longer a patient of Dr. Torres. Please do your research and question the medications prescribed to you, especially if there is a sudden change... Even if the doctor seems irritated or short with you insist!! Your life could be at stake!!!

The first visit my impression was that he was scattered, didn't pay attention and was disorganized. This was confirmed during my second visit. I have to say he might be one the most ineffective and unreliable doctors I've ever visited. Absolute lack of care. Not coming back.

Direct, to the point, I felt confident he knew what he was talking about, very proficient. Took care of my medical issue just like that. He's a keeper.
