Dr. Saul Wilson, MD

Not impressed at all (University of Iowa Hospital or Dr. Saul Wilson) he didn’t introduce himself, shake our hands or ask us if we had any questions. He just said this is what we are doing.... and left the room. He talked to the computer screen more than he did to us. His questions were very vague and we had to ask for clarification. He didn’t look at reports or scans that were sent weeks earlier prior to our appointment(which took well over a month to get). Luckily I had brought all of the images on CD as their computer would not load them. If you want to leave your appointment feeling as if this is a giant waste of time from someone who feels they are superior than you... this is your guy! I’ll am seeking another doctor!!!!!

I have a spinal cord stimulator. I'm searching for some assistance with this device. While some surgeons have poor bedside manners, Dr. Wilson is in a category all of his own. I'm 55 years old. I've seen my share of physicians. Dr. Wilson might be considered evil. During my last visit, attended by my husband and Boston Scientific rep, Dr. Wilson attitude was shameful and a disgrace to the medical profession. Please avoid him like the plague. The Boston Scientific rep was speechless. He, too, has never been involved with such a disgraceful physician in his live. While I'm a half full glass type of person, I urge you not to ever be caught in a room alone with Dr. Wilson. He needs to have his license removed.

I like the fact that he took the time needed to perform the almost 10 hour surgery on our Daughter Regan.I also like how he explains things to us after Surgery was over.
