Dr. Saurabh Sinha, MD

I was suffering for months with sciatic pain possibly due to a herniated disc. After going to my primary care physician and the hospital they referred me to New England Neurological Associates. I saw Dr Sinha. He was very sympathetic to my pain and how long I had been dealing with it. My insurance company denied my MRI. Dr Sinha wrote such a great letter to them that they wound up approving my MRI. Dr Sinha called me the day after I got my MRI and asked if and where I had gotten the MRI and I told him that he’d be receiving the results in 2-3 days. He told me he wasn’t waiting. He called the facility and had them send him the MRI electronically. He called me back and told me what the MRI showed. I did in fact have a herniated disc causing sciatic pain. He then set up an appointment for 3 days later for me to go see his associate and get a cortisone shot in my spine to help ease the pain. I called Dr Sinha back with questions and he answered them all and told me that I could… bring a family member along to my upcoming appointment with him and to write down any questions I may have and that we will go over them when I see him. I’ve been to several doctors for a lot of different health problems/surgeries and Dr Sinha is definitely one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to. He takes the time to listen to you and answer all of your questions. He explains it in simple terms so you can understand what he is talking about. He was totally sympathetic to my pain and wanted me to get relief from it ASAP. I can’t say enough good things about him. I recommend him to anyone having back problems. He is truly an admirable doctor!
