I can't say enough about how great a doctor he is.I can't say enough about how bad is office is run.

Dr. Mehta may be a great Doctor but his staff leaves something to be desired. I'm surprised he has any patients at all ! I was trying to change specialists because Dr. Mehta was so highly rated I wanted to see him. I have ulcerative Colitis and Chronic Pancreatitis. When I called for an appointment they said my chart stated my insurance was autoCommerce- I told them that was my old car insurance company and I have Blue Cross. She asked if I had been in a car accident-I said over a year ago. She told me to call my primary car doctor and get referred to someone else. How rude can you be, I was shocked to be treated that way. I wouldn't take my dog to him now.

My husband was a patient of Dr Mehta's and a GI tech in the endoscopy suite @Umass. He worked along side with Dr Mehta and always marveled at his competence & professionalism. My husband was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was referred to Brigham & Womans Hospital to a thoracic surgeon. Dr Mehta came to visit my husband there. Dr Mehta is brilliant and such a caring physician. I Have recommended him to several people

Dr.Mehta is a brilliant.physician . He is experienced in endoscopic surgery to the point that he has done thousands I bet ! I totally trust him ...He is the best ..I have emailed him with questions and he always gets back to me..appointment are easy to get and the staff is always awesome .I highly recommend Dr. Mehta .

These women that run Dr Mehta's office need to be fired. They call and HARASS a patient about billing because they do not know how to do their job. A pathetic group of women!

I have been diagnosed with stage 4 liver disease...My PCP Referred me to Dr. Mehta. The doctor was extremely informative and had a great sense of humor. He layed out a solid plan going forward. The office Staff was very thorough and friendly.. I traveled 2 hours to see Dr. Mehta...WELL WORTH THE TRAVEL TIME William Tarnawa Massachusetts

The woman Laura who answers the phones is rude, unprofessional and completely uneducated on her job. As first contact when reaching out to a Doctor who comes highly recommend it is truly sad she is allowed to destroy the practice. After my experience today I'm reading reviews and I'm shocked she hasn't been fired. Never got in to see/meet the doctor whom I've heard is a caring practitioner.

I've been an off and off patient of Dr. Mehtas for years, when I saw him years ago he was great, but I left due to his office staff being so inept. Coming back, clearly nothing has changed except for him. His caring attitude and explanation of problems is gone. When you go to a doctor you expect to be taken care of. This was not the case, I was admitted to the hospital for digestive issues twice in one year and had zero follow up feel him on either visit. His staff is atrocious, the engines on but no ones driving the car. They took 8 months to schedule a simple procedure because they "forgot to do it." I once called and asked to leave a message to speak with the doctor and was flat out told "no". I've never heard of such a thing but I'd reccomend going elsewhere because whoever you hire as staff is truly a reflection on yourself.

Truly excellent physician: very intelligent, conducted a comprehensive examination and established an accurate diagnosis. Thank you, Dr. Mehta - I am so grateful to have been in your care.
