I've been a patient of Dr. Sedlacek's for 20 years. If you're at high risk for breast cancer or have breast cancer, this is the doctor you want taking care of you. He's very thorough, very caring, and up-to-date on the latest research.

Scot is absolutely the best oncologist for me and anyone who appreciates an honest, no nonsense, relationship with their doctor. He is cutting edge on treatment protocols and I was always kept fully informed of all aspects of my disease. If you want a doctor who just pats your head and tells you "don't worry, everything will be alright," he's not your guy -- if you want to feel you have the best possible partner in fighting for your life, then I unreservedly recommend Scot. A 15+ year survivor.

WHEN ONE OF THE SURGEONS IN DR. SEDLACEK'S ROCKY MTN. CANCER CENTER WAS NEGLIGENT AND DID NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS I WAS EXPERIENCING A FEVER AND LYMPHODEMA IN MY RIGHT LEG THE DAY BEFORE I WAS SCHEDULED FOR MAJOR SURGERY AT ROCKY MTN. CANCER CENTER. DR. SCOT SEDLACEK DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME! I WAS FRIGHTENED AND FEELING VERY POORLY, BUT DR. SEDLACEK DID NOT TAKE ONE MOMENT TO PHONE ME WHEN I REALLY NEEDED THE HELP OF A CARING PHYSICIAN. ALSO, WHEN I CAME TO DR. SEDLACEK AS A NEW PATIENT I BROUGHT ALONG A VERY THOROUGH MEDICAL HISTORY (16 PAGES - PRINTED OFF OF THE SITE OF "NAVIGATING CANCER") - HE THREW OUT THE DOCUMENT THAT I HAD WORKED SO TIRELESSLY TO COMPLETE AND I WAS FORCED TO STAND AT THE FRONT COUNTER OF HIS OFFICE AND FILL OUT ANOTHER ONE. I COULD NOT READ THE DOCUMENT SO I HAD TO BORROW READING GLASSES FROM ONE OF THE RECEPTIONISTS. MY MEDICAL HISTORY THAT I BROUGHT TO DR. SEDLACEK WAS FAR MORE THOROUGH AND EXTENSIVE THAN THE ONE I HAD TO FILL OUT BY HAND AT HIS… OFFICE!

Wonderful man and fantastic doctor. Keeps as many options as possible for me. Even though my diagnosis is bad, it's easy to stay positive with Dr Sedlacek. He has nine more chemo options for me if this one stops working. He also gives great hugs.
