Dr. Scott A Steingard, DO

I have been Dr Steingards patient for over 25 years and he is the only doctor able to manage my pain with manipulations. I have seen many specialists, physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons but my best results have been with Dr. Scott. He is my only doctor for complete health care. He is a very caring doctor. I was having dizzy spells years ago and only Dr Scott diagnosed my problem and did the manipulations necessary to stop my dizziness. So grateful to have him for my doctor.

I absolutely loved working with Dr. Steingard's colleague Dr. Jason H. Turner! Dr. Turner can be described as professional, committed, compassionate, and attentive. So why, you may ask, am I giving Dr. Steingard a 1 star review? The rest of the Steingard Medical Group (or whatever they are calling themselves now) deserve zero stars! At some point last fall, Dr. Steingard and Dr. Cooper sold the practice to another company. In doing that, I would expect the practice to communicate with the patients as to what changed and what they need to do (if anything)! Instead, silence. When shopping for 2019 health insurance, Steingard Medical Group could not identify which insurance plans they would be accepting into the new year. Searching insurance networks was made virtually impossible because they couldn't identify which name was being used in the various insurance networks. Then, while dealing with a parent in hospice and ultimately passing away, I get a letter from Steingard… dismissing me as a patient with no specific information as to what I did "wrong"! I can identify what they have done wrong. NO MEANINGFUL COMMUNICATIONS with patients when changing the name of the practice nor communicating which insurance plans they would be accepting. No meaningful outreach to assist patients while the practice undergoes this ownership change. In short, Dr. Steingard and Dr. Cooper don't give a flying rat's butt about ANY of their patients. I strongly urge anyone considering this practice to take their medical care elsewhere. Dr. Steingard and Dr. Cooper simply do not care about their patients!

You will not find a more caring Doctor than Dr. Scott. He has taken care of my husband for many years and he is always willing to help us in any way he can.

Refused to refill my prescription that I have been on for 7 years. I used to see Dr. Paul Steinguard, who retired, on the voicemail for Dr. Paul it say's a 30 day precription would be filled until you could see another Doctor but I was refused and am now in crises and withdrawl. Very unhappy with the way Steingard Medical Group treated me after being a patient for 7 years. Dp not recommend.

Dr Scott is the most caring and considerate physician I have ever known. I have had an occasion twice to call him late at night and received a call back with in 10 min. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He does not make you feel like your just another number.
