This doctor is arrogant, does not listen to his patients, and on top of that, is a horrible surgeon. He did a lumbar laminectomy on me, and I ended up worse than when I started. I had to go find another surgeon, and ended up having a lumbar fusion to correct what he did.

I am so very thankful to Dr. Scott Berta for helping me when no one would. I went to Shasta Regional with problems walking. I had lost almost all sensation from my belly button to my toes. Shasta Regional transported me to Mercy Hospital where Dr. Berta ordered an Mri of my cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. It showed many problems but the most problematic issue was T1,T2 and T3. He scheduled my surgery for that evening. With time I have regained most of my sensations. r. Berta is a real caring surgeon and I thank him so very much !!!!
