During my visit, he kept commenting on me about how pretty I look. He is not professional at all, didn't read my medical records, doesn't understand my medical situation. Overall very poor and disgusting experience. How can he be qualified as a doctor?!

I have been Dr. Carstens patient for 25 years, I travel 180 miles to see him. I have nothing but the best to say about him and his nurse. They are very considerate and have taken very good care of my health problems, and I can always talk to him. I rate him a 10.

Dr. Carstens is very knowledgeable, very bright, and has a superbly warm and encouraging manner. He combines all the attributes most of us admire and appreciate. A fine doctor and a fine human being. Dr. Carstens has been both my primary care physician and my rheumatologist, and has been extremely helpful to me in both roles.

I saw Dr. Carstens due to an on going lower back problem related to a disc bulge diagnosed many years ago. He discounted my inquiry for an Mri to further investigate the extent of my condition, telling me they are not that conclusive or helpful. Dr. Carsten said I was pretty & that he wanted to see me get beyond it, and only recommended bio-feedback. His statement was not only irrelevant but dismissive and offensive!No surprise I won't see him again, nor will I recommend him to anyone else.He lacked sound advice in my opinion,which was disappointing as I was wanting to establish a G.P, internal medicine doctor for my huband & myself.
