Dr. Scott L Cohen

"I went to Dr Cohen about pain in back and leg. He Says" oh my last patient had the same thing". Take this med & salinpas. Contact me next week if problem. I think,"good it will take the pain away". It did nothing. I contact office that Monday. They Dr says do PT and muscle relaxer. Well if Dr thought the dx is nerve I asked office staff will it help my nerve pain. They say no. During Delta covid times I'm not going to PT office. So here I am looking for treatment of herniated disc but get Dr Cohen tell me another pill & the PT idea. I questioned taking another pill when he still doesn't know what I have as a dx. Then says get x-ray. I go to hospital for x-ray and he doesn't fill out the type of x-ray accurately so they can't perform it. I call office to get my care corrected. I have now been in excruciating pain for 10 days in back radiating down my leg. I call to speak with Cohen and office staff wouldn't let me. They say go to an Orthopedic Dr. For what dx? Dr Cohen hasn't… determined or Eliminated the herniated disc yet. He won't get me an MRI/cat scan but that's what I read can dx the condition. So I said to office person I need to talk to Cohen. He calls and after 8 days his dx hasn't been eliminated yet. Then says," go to orthopedic or PT. I explain again why I'm not going to a PT building because of Covid. He says no you can go! What!!!. But he says 5 times," you need to find another Dr" After 30 years I have been going to the Richboro office and the REAL care is nowhere to be found with Dr Cohen." I'll be like the lady on the review list here of don't come here. You can't verify his decision with questions. He'd rather just get rid of you instead of performing correct and accurate care

Dr. cohen is a caring doctor once you get to see him. However, the front desk does not allow for emergencies. If you call up with a serious problem and there are no openings in the appointment book, you will not be seen. What good is a primary care doctor who will not see you in time of crisis?

Very disappointed in him. After 10 years of routine care he demonstrated he does not care for his patients, nor has an interest in your welfare. He is a referral agent who does not like to work.

I have been going to this practice for probably close to 30 years and today I get a certified letter stating that they no longer will be my physician because of significant philosophical differences! I was taken back and confused as to what happened. I called office to ask what this was about and they said that I was not doing what the doctor wanted. I stated that he just told me to follow up with my specialist which I did do 15 days ago. Had no prior phone calls about any problems or issues. Been taking medicine as told to and thought all was fine. I have recommended Richboro family medical to family and friends in the past. The office person I was on phone with spoke to I assume was the doctor and stated decision was made and basically too bad. I asked if could have doctor call me to discuss and office person stated that he most likely wouldn't. I hope I can convince my family, friends, neighbors and anyone else I can to leave this practice and find another doctor . The wait time is… ridiculous 30 minutes if lucky. If you are, thinking of this practice I WOULDN'T! After 30 year kicked to curb been going there longer then you worked there thanks Dr Cohen

Dr.Cohen is such a wonderful, caring man. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Great Doctor who cares about his patients and takes the time with them.

It seems Dr. Cohen has moved does anyone know where he is located now?

Dr. Scott is a great doctor, very nice, very professional...however, his staff are awful! let me be specific, just one of his staff members is terrible, very rude, bad manners, she thinks she is the boss,lol...poor woman...a bad example of Puerto Ricans...

DR. COHEN IS VERY NICE AND TAKES TIME WITH PATIENTS. HE IS A SOLE PRACTICIONER SO IT IS SOMETIMES HARD TO GET AN APPOINTMENT.
