Absolutely terrible If you are not already depressed, you will be after speaking to him. He doesn’t listen. He works to prevent people from getting disability, people who need it.

Went to see Doctor Duncan for a Appointment at 2:30 and I arrived at 1:30 it took me 45 minutes to fill out the paperwork and at around 2:17 he called me back .He asked Questions very fast and was in a hurry and when I tried to answer his question it would upset him if it was not what he wanted to hear .So he would answer it for you and move to the next Question. He talks down to you and treats you like Garbage the whole short time you are there.I was in the session with him no longer than 12 to 14 minutes. He is Rude ,Unprofessional, and could care less about anyone!! I have been working for over 40 years and I am 57 years old and I have never in the Work place or in any kind of public setting or in my private life been treated so badly!!

The most unprofessional quack ive ever been, ssa made an appointment for me to see for evaluation. I arrived 5min early, waited for almost 2 hours until he called me back was in the evaluation for possibly 6 to 7 minutes and he had made his decision, cause he said that would be all?? Wait what? No tests nothing, asked my name address phone number ss# And he made his decision. Smh worst dr ever and ssa took his findings as truth and ignored the medical dr that did a 2hour exam. Scott Duncan is a quack and you best find another dr!!!!

Dr. Duncan is probably the worst doctor I have ever encountered. I read some previous reviews and took them with a grain of salt. I always like to come to my own conclusion. I do like to read what others have to say and in this case they were spot on. He rushed through his checklist with incredible speed, paying absolutely no attention to my answers and quickly moving on to the next question as I was still speaking. He is in no way interested in the patient. This is so very disheartening. He outright berated me and questioned the treatment of my current physician is a matter of 3 minutes into our meeting. He’s beyond out of control and highly unprofessional. He needs to seek help in my opinion which is probably more insightful than his.

Please don't go to this doctor if you're looking for a qualified, professional, and caring Doctor. I had to come to him for my SSI CE and I had one of the worst experiences ever. He doesn't seem to care about what you're saying at all and reads from a questionnaire he haves you fill out. He even tried to say I was lying about my hospitalizations then when he found my file he saw that I was telling the truth and said , "Oh ok here it is.." No apology or anything. I just can't see why SSI needed a second opinion when I've been in treatment for 3 yrs consecutively, I totally believe it's a shame bc the SSI know they're sending people to bad doctors who could careless about their patient. Please believe all of the other reviewers. You sit with him maybe ten mins then it's see you later. Pure Ahole The 1 star is for his receptionist, she was very kind and helpful. Scott Duncan definitely needs to reconsider his choice of profession.

I was sent to see Dr. Duncan for a disability psych evaluation. I had a horrible experience. I was not given any tests to take, but he insisted I fill out some paperwork. When I tried to direct him to the document that I had prepared because a), it answered the questions on his form, and b) it is hard for me to remember all the details of my health care, he refused to look at it. His form/paperwork was obviously a lazy way for him to ask the questions he needed. He told me something different than was stated on the letter with instructions from disability. As another reviewer (on another site) said, and I quote because this was exactly the case: "He constantly interrupted me, occasionally to invalidate what I was saying." He practically berated me for medication I am taking under the supervision of a doctor. He also, in the first three minutes of talking to me, diagnosed me with a problem I don't have. It is upsetting enough to have to go through the disability process without a person… making you feel even worse about yourself. He was, in a word, a jerk. I do NOT recommend you visit him for any sort of mental health care, and you better pray that disability does not send you to him for an evaluation.

My wife was required to go see this guy by the social security administration because ssa was reviewing her disability. We arrived at the office on time. My wife was given an 8 page form to fill out which was very detailed. It had her answer the same kinds of questions that she already had to fill out for the ssa. My wife has trouble concentrating and sitting. She is in constant pain. It took her an hour and fifteen minutes to fill out those forms. Mr Duncan calls her back a few minutes later. She was with him a grand total of 10 minutes and that counts time to walk all the way down the hall to his office and back. She walked out in tears and he didn't seem to care at all. There is no way any reputable counselor can make a comprehensive evaluation in 10 minutes or less. And of course 1 week and 4 days later we receive a letter from the ssa that her benefits are being stopped. Of course he tells her that the decision won't be based on his report alone, but it sure seemed like it… was. The decision was made right after receiving his report. I suspect he does whatever the ssa wants him to do so they will keep sending work his way. I got the impression that he's just a paid puppet of the ssa. Ironically, the sign outside the building where his office is located advertises Christian counseling. I was raised by a Christian minister and I was a minister for several years. There was nothing Christian about this place. The bible teaches benevolence and kindness. Qualities that I did not witness during this visit. It's a very cold unwelcoming environment. The bible warns of false prophets pretending to be something they are not.
