Dr. Scott Andrew Fink, MD

When I asked him about leaky gut, he cut me off and said " leaky gut is not a real thing, it does not exist" , he didn't even want to have a conversation. Diagnosed me with an aotoimune disease and putmy on a very agressive medicine, when i finally got into penn for a 2nd opinion, that dr (who is regarded as the best in his field ( dr lichtensyein) told me,yesleaky gut is a real thing and also told me that the drig he put me on is a very agressive approach with lots ofnasty side effects (heart attach, stroke). Could never recommend him or his approach. He needs to keep up with the changes in medicine and re educate himself. Things change over time so should our dr's approach

I am writing to strongly recommend Dr. Fink to any prospective patients. As my liver specialist for more than five years now, he has guided me through a tough battle with portal hypertension leading to excessive ascites and bowel blockages. He recommended a TIPS procedure to relieve this pressure and it worked wonders for me. Just 18 months ago, during a routine MRI scheduled by Dr. Fink, we discovered a small HCC liver tumor. He immediately began the process of getting me on the Jefferson University Hospital liver transplant list. Concurrently, he recommended a Y90-radioembolization procedure to control the tumor growth giving me time to find a donor organ. It worked. Last month, I received my donor liver. I am doing fantastic. I thank Dr. Fink and the entire MLGA staff for their expertise, guidance, and patience in guiding me through this troubled time. I honestly believe that he has given me a second lease on life. Great Doc and good guy ... If I could give him 6 stars I would.

The entire staff is great. Dr. Fink is very nice and straight forward.

He is rude. He does not listen to you.

All doctors should be as professional and skilled as Dr. Scott A. Fink. I highly recommend him.

My colonoscopy was one of the worst experiences. It was aborted midstream because I was told my colon was to narrow and he didn't have the proper tools to get through my colon. I woke up in extreme pain and as I was crying and was told to calm down. I was then sent to a hospital in which the appointment was made for me to get a specialized cat scan...got the cat scan only to find out that the hospital they made the appointment at did not do the specialized cat scan that was required. Needless to say I left the practice (they would not reimburse me for my co pay, only the cat scan co pay) got another colonoscopy one week later in which there were no issues and I was told I did not have a narrow colon.
