Dr. Scott Charles Grevey, MD

Dr Grevey is the absolutely the worst Dr i have ever been to. I was out of town and headed home on Sunday to make my Monday appointment with Dr Grevey. I got sick late Sunday night. Worst case of the flu i ever had. I called and to cancel the appointment and left a message on his answering machine. He decided to charge me $500 for a missed appointment Guess he wants you to come in sick. I would NEVER EVER go with Dr Grevey. His staff is a group of rude people. I suggest you to stay in your insurance group and stay away from Dr Grevey. You will regret it if you decide to work with Dr Grevey. Plus I have never heard anything good about him from his other patients.

Dont go to Dr Grevey. All he cares about is his money NOT whats best for his patients. Problems

This man literally terminated mostly all of his employees during this pandemic a time where your suppose to feel your job has your back I just feel it was sooo wrong. People have houses, kids, mortgages that they pay and dont know what their next move is. My friend is extremely depressed and scared, i just wish he would've chose to support his employees instead of terminating them. I'm so sorry for those of you who were laid off I hope you never choose to work for someone like him ever again! Prayers to you all and my job is hiring ! And will support you in your time of need!!

I had mohs with Dr Grevey and my husband had mohs with different doctor elsewhere. We felt the experience elsewhere was better. Dr. Grevey did not do a pre op consult or a post op check 3 months after the surgery. I did not like how the nurse put in the stitches.

Dr. Grevey has an amazing bed side manor. I had a surgical procedure that required stitches and 7 staples. I was extremely nervous about the procedure at first because i do not numb very well but he made me feel calm relaxed and at ease the whole time. Also, all staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recomend.

I went to a free skin cancer screening at Atrium Medical Center by a dermatologist Dr. Ridge MD and was told there was nothing of concern with my skin. I then started receiving a ton of robocalls from Dr. Grevey's office saying it was time for my yearly skin exam. I ignored the calls because the free skin exam was normal just a month earlier, but the calls kept coming so I worried that something was wrong and made an appointment. At the appointment the nurse practitioner told me I needed a bunch of biopsies. I did not do the biopsies at the appointment because I was leaving for vacation. Since the two exam results were different I was confused and asked my family doctor to check me over. He didn't see anything wrong with my skin but had me see another dermatologist who told me that there was nothing wrong with my moles and no biopsies were needed. It was suggested that I don't see nurse practitioners in the future because they don't have the dermatology training of a physician.

After having a biopsy done I was told that I would get the results back in 3 weeks. I left the office upset over how long the results would take. I thought I would die in 3 weeks waiting for the results. I immediately contacted my family doctor and she got me in with another dermatologist the same day. The other dermatologist did another biopsy and rushed my test to the laboratory and I got my results in 2 days and got on treatment for my rash right away. Dr Grevey office called me with results 3 weeks after I was cured by the other dermatologist. I found out that Dr Grevey is semi retired, takes a lot of time off, reads his own biopsy slides and has no one covering him for reading his biopsy slides when he is on vacation so you don't get your results for 3 weeks. I don't recommend this office as I would have suffered 3 weeks longer not knowing what I had or on the proper medicine

This office has no respect for patients. If a patient is scheduled for a certain time they should be seen within 10 minutes of their appointment time. I really don't care for the excuses provided for running behind. My time is worth money. None of my other doctors run behind like this office because they don't overbook the doctor and they have adequate support staff. From the minute you walk in the door you feel like a number. I will not return to such a poorly managed office. I knew complaining to the receptionist and nurse was useless as they were just employees and frustrated too. I won't return.

I love coming to the practice always friendly and helpful.

Dermatologist was caring and helped with my situation. Will recommend practice, was easy to get into and wait time in the office was minimum.
