The office staff is rude as other reviews have stated. Also, be prepared to pay for arguably unnecessary office visits and testing. It seems as though making money is the priority at this practice.

I saw Dr. Hallgren for a colonosopy today. He is approachable, kind and professional. Dr. Hallgren asked if I had any questions and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly.

He walked me through every step of what to expect, gave me options, and took the time to answer all my questions. He is trained on the latest techniques and treatments, which was extremely important when I was making my decision for a physician. His bedside manner is professional, yet compassionate. HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing a GI.

No chance these people saw the same doctor and staff as I did for my acid reflux and upper GI scope. It was the most pleasant experience (minus the procedure, obviously). I'm really shocked. I thought he was wonderful...

I have been seeing Dr Hallgren for about 7 years for general GI health and gastritis/gerd. He is very detailed about performing and explaining the results of procedures. He suggests the normal medications, but is also a very strong proponent of probiotics and other non-drug approaches to health. He has written a full book on the subject--a pretty big undertaking that was obviously done out of concern for patients rather than for financial gain. I wish there were a "magic bullet" for my condition, but short of that I think Dr Hallgren is as concerned about my health and thoughtful about what he prescribes as any doctor could be.
