I have given Family Practice Associates many chances but will not give them any more. My first visit to them was right after Emory purchased their practice. During the transition I was charged full price for my visit and they did not properly bill my insurance company. After 12, yes 12 not exaggerated, I gave trying to get my bill corrected. The lady that does billing needs to retire. She is overworked and by the look of her and her not so pleasant attitude, she needs to leave. OK, visit 2. I met with Dr. Henderson, well I should say, I waited in the exam room for Dr. Henderson. After 45 minutes of waiting and not being checked on, I opened the door to find out when I would be seen. Evidently, he skipped over me and was seeing the person that came in 2 people after me. After he came to see me he did not apologize and barely spoke with me. I paid my co-pay and left. Two weeks later I get a bill for my co-pay... once again the billing lady needs to retire or go. Strike 2. OK visit #3,… unfortunately Dr. Rogers was unavailable so I had to see Dr. Henderson again. This visit was uneventful but it did make me wonder if Dr. Henderson has ever been told he has the bedside manner is terrible. So after all that, I still attempted to give them one more chance. I was not feeling well today and called to make an appointment. I was put on hold for 15 minutes until the line clicked off. My wife called back 45 minutes later and was put on hold again. Ten minutes later the appointment taker came back on to tell her to keep holding. We hung up then. Whomever answers the phone needs to grab the billing lady and move on. You both act like you hate your job and the customers, yes we are customers and patients. Dr Rogers and Dr Henderson, you should be ashamed at how you treat the people that intrust you to care for their health. Each of you should call into your office one day as a patient to see what the experience is like. Goodbye from your former patient/customer, you will not longer get my or my insurances money for your poor service.

Dr. Henderson is terrific. He is not one of these doctors that is so quick to prescribe medicine for every little thing. He takes the time to listen to all your concerns, which I really appreciate.

I have been several times, thinking each time it will be better... it never is. I dont understand these good reviews. I really tried but each time I go in there the staff is incredibly rude. I also feel like my symptoms are never truly reviewed. I went in with blurred vision, headache and severe numbness on one side of my body and was brushed off with... just keep an eye on it. Are you kidding me? No tests, no concern... Never again.

Dr. Henderson is the best!

I think Dr Henderson is a wonderful compassionate doctor, always has a smile on his face, takes his time with his patients, really listens, and answers any question with patience and knowledge. The staff is very friendly and many have been there for many years which speaks volumes about all 3 of the doctors there, its shows that not only are they good doctors but good people since their employees want to work for them for so many years.

Dr. Henderson is truly one of the best Dr's I have had the pleasure to be a patient of. (if being a patient can be called a pleasure) After having some serious health issues and being sent to many different specialists, sometimes one after another, I feel I have some extensive knowledge of dealing with the medical community. Dr. Henderson and his staff rate at the very top in so far as knowledge, answering questions, even anticpating questions you may not know you have and knowing when and what specialist you may be needing to be sent to. Whereas with other Dr's it sometimes feel that they are guessing on who to send you to or guessing on a diagnosis. It's a very secure feeling to be able to say "My Dr. is a really good guy, as his staff".

I went in for a full yearly checkup with Dr. Henderson. He was fine but somewhat short. After MANY months (and also after checking my copy and me paying what I showed as owed), I was sent a bill for $10 underpayment. Totally fine except his office staff was harassing to the point of sounding like a debt collector. They called me 3x in one day and when I got a chance to talk to them the next day they were not very nice.

I have been going to Dr. Henderson for 14 years and have only had positive experiences. He cares about me as a person. He is one of the few doctors that will come in the room, sit down, talk as long as you want to talk, listen, then before he goes, ask, is there anything else? He has diagnosed some very rare things with me and helped me through MRSA, ankle reconstruction, brain surgery, etc. I count on him for all of my medical needs, even when it is not his specialty...I always ask and get his opinion.

Dr. Henderson is a very caring professional. We have seen him for general health concerns for years. We find him very easy to work with and will spend the appropriate amount of time with you when needed. His office staff is excellent and is very willing to work you in whenever possible.
