Dr. Hormel puts you at ease with his knowledge, caring nature and efficiency. For years I have treated some of his patients as a Physical Therapist. He is top notch with his results.

I have known Dr Scott Hormel for years. He is simply the best surgeon on the planet. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. A total standout guy and a really great and knowledgeable surgeon. I cannot thank him enough for the amazing work he does.

There’s a reason drive all the way to Seattle to see Dr. Hormel…he’s the best. He knows what real skiers and aging “adventure athletes “ need to do in order to still live life. He’s very insightful and has a great calming effect.

Dr. Hormel performed my left total knee replacement in November 2025, after having performed my right total knee replacement in March 2025. Both procedures have gone exceptionally well. When fully healed (which requires ~1 full year), my knees will bend to ~135%, essentially the maximum possible after such surgeries. My experiences with Dr. Hormel and his staff could not have been better. They are friendly, caring, efficient, and very communicative. When I had questions, they were answered quickly and fully. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of knee-related surgeries.

The person who checked me in was very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Hormels assistant was very nice and mentioned that she'd received a message I'd left. Dr Homel was very personable and explained things very well.

Dr. Hormel has been on time with all my appointments. I have had both shoulder s worked on (torn rotator cuff) and one knee and soon to be two knees replaced. His nursing staff are very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Hormel spends the time to thoroughly explain the process to fix the problems you may have. I have never felt rushed!
